Off our deck we look towards the mainland, to the northwest. So we get a fair number of really nice sunsets. This series is representative.\u00a0 We used to sit on the deck, or the dock, and give each sunset a rating.\u00a0 These were all 10’s.<\/p>\n

This one was quite unexpected. It rained all afternoon, but then just at sunset a hole cleared up enough for the sun to glow a dull red. I was lucky to have the camera available.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This really isn’t a sunset, but rather a double rainbow, looking away from the sun (to the southeast), which was pretty close to setting.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
